Seven gentlemen of the marque left from The Middle of Nowhere Diner on Monday, May 17, 2021 for a Civil War excursion. Led by then Club President, Steve Forand (our resident military expert), we embarked with great expectations of visiting several early Civil War battle sites along the peninsula between the York and James Rivers in northern Virginia.
