Buying a New Vehicle Online With Carvana

By Dave Carr

Never thought I’d buy a new vehicle online but after looking at the prices of 2026 Jeep Wranglers, even with all their discounts and rebates, I stumbled across Carvana online and their price was a few thousand cheaper than dealers and the trade in value was also $4-$5k more than dealers.

It’s as simple as entering your VIN on their website and honestly answering questions on your vehicle’s condition, mileage, option packages, etc. It then gives you a value which is good for a week or two. You then shop online for the vehicle you want and it populates all boxes with no dealer prep or doc fees. They do charge you RI tax and DMV fees which is reflected in the bill of sale so you basically need to go to the DMV with the forms and register it with nothing to pay.

Since I already had a 2024 Wrangler nearing the end of its factory warranty I didnt need to test drive one. I did research it and the 2026 had a few upgrades. These are brand new vehicles with the factory warranty and mine even had the flexcare so free oil changes and tire rotations for the first two years.

After you pay them online you get updated and they deliver your vehicle. Mine was in a close enough location so it was free but some have shipping of $990-$1,290; but this could be in Arizona where they are located.

Something to think about for your future  NEW vehicle purchase!
