Several members of the OSBMWR took a little time from their busy lives to donate some time at the Providence Rescue Mission in Providence, RI on Friday, January 30, 2026. The following images are just the tip of the iceberg of the execution of our mission to come to the aid of our fellow human beings who for reasons too numerous to mention find themselves in great need especially in the very cold winter of 2026.
We shopped, sliced, diced, trimmed fat and gristle, cut, sauteed, simmered, boiled, drained, chopped, plated and garnished an amazing meal prepared by our resident Chef, Vasilios Kourakis, and his crew of earnest and dedicated teammates, Steve Forand, Bill Kenney, Joey Tatulli, Mike Casey, Bruce Stevens, Norm Lamontagne, Jay Fogleman, and Kathe Fogleman. No one left hungry.
