I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving! I spent mine down in West Virginia, with my wife, Pat, and I watching our grandchildren for the week. At ages 9 & 7, they kept us busy!
Well, here we are in December! This month starts off on a sad note…as I put motorcycles to “sleep” for the winter. I do leave one accessible, but it’s still a little depressing to see three of them crammed into my trailer (with all of the other Club bins), knowing what might lie ahead for the winter.
This brings me to Winter storage. Have you topped off your gas tanks and added fuel stabilizer? Inflated your tires a little harder so they will retain shape without flat spots? Plugged in your Battery Tenders?

On a better note, last Sunday, we had our annual Chicken Run to Wrights Farm. About 10 of us met up at the Groundwater Café for a group ride up to Burriville, where we met up with another dozen and enjoyed a delicious chicken dinner, capped off with ornamental chicken design ice cream!
On the way home, traffic was an issue, as it took me 40 minutes to get over the Washington Bridge!
On Monday, December 9th we will hold our monthly meeting at the Carriage House. 6pm for dinner, 7pm meeting. It is election time, with the President and Treasurer position being up for grabs. Myself and Tracy are willing to stay on for another term, if so elected.
This months Tuesday Breakfast is at the Cranston Diner. Hope to see you there!
Rubber side down!
