Happy Winter Doldrums to all!

Here we are in the throes of winter! Not much snow (yet), but the temps have been downright cold! I was tempted to take out the bikes for a ride on a couple of occasions but chickened out after checking the temp. Sunny outside, but the upper 20s are very cold.
Checking the bikes tire pressure was an indication of how long it has been since I went riding. A drop of 8psi in the cold garage was significant enough to get my attention. I recently picked up a Milwaukee battery powered inflator (M12) and put it to use. Impressive tool. Hook it up to the valve stem, set the desired pressure, press start, and it shuts off when the pressure is reached! A little bulky for traveling with the bike, but for general use around the house it is perfect.
How is your trip planning coming along? Include all trips on or without the bike. With days flying by, the weeks slip through our fingers and the months just suddenly appear! Break out the maps, put pencil to paper and sketch out a memorable trip. Better yet, find some software and use your computer. Scratch away at it and before you know it, you’ll be making reservations.
As I mentioned last month, it is time to renew your club membership. Think of all the benefits for $25 bucks. Too many to list here. Don’t delay! Do it online, or cash is always welcomed. I continue to update and verify member records including address, phone number, email, emergency contact, etc. If you haven’t done that in a while, please re-enter the information so I can keep them updated. Thank you.
See you on Monday night! Come early for dinner and camaraderie.
