Ahh, here it is, April is finally here! Riding Season! But before we start, have you checked out your bike(s) yet? Battery topped off? Tire pressure checked? Chains lubed and adjusted? How about your Helmets? How old are they? Any chips form a drop? Do they still fit well?
And, what about tires? Any cracks between the tread spines or on the sidewalls? During the month of April, Bridgestone and Dunlop (probably other manufactures also) are offering rebates that are available through Razee’s!

Sunday April 13: YB Meeting at Vanson Leathers in Fall River, Ma. Great time to tour their facility! If you’ve never been to Vanson, worth a trip!

Saturday, April 19: The Yankee Beemers are sponsoring their annual Spring ride to Stewart & Johns Sugar House @ 31 NH 63, Westmoreland, NH. Our own Richie Roy will be leading a ride, starting at the Shell Station, 167 Daniel Shays Hwy, Orange, Ma. KSU at 8:45 sharp!!!
Saturday, April 26: YB Tech Day at John & Lorie VanHook’s, 3285 Millers Lane, Dighton, Ma. Great tech day for Airheads!!! 9am 1 ?
May 9 – 11: Frosty Nutz Campout: Wiligus State Park, 3985 Connecticut River Rd. Springfield, Vt. Another YB Event that many of our members attend!
In the past, I have spoken about Americade (May 27 – 31) in Lake George, NY. In the past, a group from our club has attended and shared cabins. My attempts this year to re-kindle this event have gone unsuccessful. In case anyone else is interested, Myself and Norm (and maybe a flamingo!) will be attending, staying at the Motel section of the Lincoln Log Colony (518-668-5326) riding up on Tuesday, 5/27 and returning on Thursday, 5/29. Our plan is to check out some demo rides on Wednesday.
Our Monthly breakfast is once again at the Cranston Diner. Come early as bantering has no time limits!
