Over the Bridge – Coastal Roasters, Tiverton, RI.
Well, here we are in April. Today was a cooler, 45° day, so I took the “Pizza Bike” a Honda Trail 125, (kind of looks like one should be delivering a pizza on it!) and rode out to Tiverton, RI, for a cup of coffee from Coastal Roasters.
Coastal Roasters is an artisan roaster of specialty coffees from around the world! Along with coffee, they serve espresso, organic teas, smoothees and locally baked pastries.
They are in a small building that doesn’t have any indoor seating, so you will need to go there in better weather and enjoy their outside seating, overlooking the harbor to Island Park in Portsmouth. Warning: This place can get crowded on warmer days!
When I ordered an small hot coffee, 8 oz, I could not believe that they only charge $1.40!!! I can’t believe that you can beat that price anywhere!
Coastal Roasters is located at 1791 Main Rd in Tiverton and are open from around 6 am to 5 pm daily.
Well worth a stop if your in the area!
