The month of June has arrived and, in a snap, as I am writing this, the outside temp is in the high 80’s. Love New England. Time to ride, ride and ride. I am off to a slow start, no, the bikes are good, just focusing on some camping in the early summer. Will have to make up for it in July.
I am seeing a lot of strange bikes on the road, at least ones that are unfamiliar. Larger than a minibike but with the same design as a sport bike. Most of the time they are zipping by so I cannot get the make. I especially see them in Fall River. Riders are helmeted but most look on the younger side. I see a scooter dealer on Stafford Rd. in Fall River that has a lot full of these bikes, I should stop in to check it out. My guess is that we are going to see more of these bikes especially in larger towns/cities with young riders. I wonder if these smaller bike sales are reflected in the overall motorcycle sales. My guess is this is a market under the radar with many small foreign manufacturers and cheap bikes. More research to follow.
Keep your head on a swivel and watch out! Everyone is trying to kill you.
