Hello fellow OSBMW Riders! Hope everyone had a great summer… the bad news is that the “summer” everyone measures by Memorial Day to Labor Day has passed… the good news is that September and October offer the best riding weather of the season! Add to that the fact that the tourists have all gone home makes the riding that much better..especially near the coast. To prepare for this weather, I recently had my bike serviced.
I brought it to Razee for a new set of Continental Trail Attack 3 tires. They are a great 90/10 tire. I had the same tires on the bike and got over 10,000 miles out of them There was still good tread on the old tires but I had worn a flat spot on the rear tire. Also had Razee service the oil, filter and drive shat while it was in there. A new set of rear brake pads was also installed. Razee does a great job and I believe that it is very important to use them for all parts and service when possible.
The Continentals are great tires in all road conditions and are fine on fire roads, etc. Continental also throws in 3 years of roadside service in the event you have a tire issue. You have to register the purchase on their web site.
